Finally

Hello Journal,

Since I've decided to actually re-directed this blog's direction to movies and books rambling (less personal stuffs) so I guess I will just go with my err..plan for this blog.

I've watched a lot of movies ( both  in cinemas and online). To name a few of them; The Host, Oblivion, Ip Man, Warm Bodies, Olympus Has Fallen and The Story of Luke. Now let me give some reviews on those movies. I'm not going to write  for each movie, but only for those that I feel like to comment.

P.S: Please note that I'm not any kind of professional movie critic or whatsoever ;do forgive my noob and honest opinions.

  • The Host
Well, thanks to my classmate, who told me to watch the movie."Farah dah tengok The Host? Pergi tengok wei, serious best." And oh yes being a real movie junkie, I did watch it.

And my opinion? Its not boring but it is also not that entertaining. Get the drill? The author or writer of the movie is the same person who wrote the story line for Twilight, so I guess that should give some clues of how The Host's story line is. Love, friendship, very few of fight scenes, tears and so many talks. My verdict? 2.5 out of 5.

  • Warm Bodies

I'm a big fan of Skins, a British teenage series with 6 seasons aired so far(Season 7 is coming to TV this July. Behold!!!) Why I'm talking about Skins? The main hero of  Warm Bodies, Nicholas Hoult is actually one of the main casts in Skins Season 1. When I watched Skins back then, I never imagined that Nicholas Hoult would be a big star one day. Maybe because he was still a teenager back then thus he kinda lacks the err, X factor that you will find in a good actor. Plus he played a character as a playboy in Skins so I kinda dislike the real him too. He is however much cooler nowadays (he is in fact still  quite thin but he looks more masculine :P )

Okay, back to Warm Bodies. The story line is pretty predictable but still, I love it. I don't know whether I'm just being bias towards Nicholas or maybe because the movie is just perfect ; but yes, Warm Bodies is actually fun to be watch even for a few times. It has pieces of funny, drama, suspense, touching and loving in it. My verdict? 4 out of 5.

Nicholas Hoult (Jeezzzzz why he is so handsome?? He looks like JT in this picture!)

  • The Story of Luke

Now this is the only movie I've watched online for the whole month. I've been occupied with series a lot nowadays ( 2 Broke Girls, Grey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars and the list goes on and on!)

Diary of Luke is about a man with autism learning  to struggle to be independent, to actually stands on his own feet and to embrace reallife and love. He struggled hard to be 'normal'. However the word normal is a such a big word  nowadays, don't you think? What is normal and what is not?

Luke showed to us that life is much more than just being normal. If you had watch Juno, Little Miss Sunshine, or even My Name is Khan ( Shah Rukh Khan played the main cast with an Asperger Syndrome and unable to talk like a normal person) and you like those movies, yes you will love this movie. My verdict? 4 out of 5.

Lou Taylor Pucci, the main cast. He is also the main cast of The Go-Getter.

A trailer that won't do the judgment
